$95,000 - $110,000 Year Under the direction of the Fire Chief, this position is responsible for day-to-day operations and training of Grand Forks Fire/Rescue, a full-service department providing fire suppression and prevention, medical response, and rescue services in a variety of disciplines. Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the fire service department. Oversee training programs for full-time and volunteer personnel. Collaborate with three Chief Officers and ensure effective coordination across the department. Develop and maintain operations plans, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with local government legislation, codes, and practices. Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the fire service covering operations, training, and administration. At least 5 years in a Company/Chief Officer role or equivalent education and experience. Demonstrated leadership and positive relationship-building skills. Familiarity with volunteer fire service management and fireground operations. Knowledge of local government legislation, codes, and practices. Other trades certificate or diploma is acceptable; 5 years or more experience required.
