Senior Firmware Engineer in Robotics

This role in Vancouver involves designing and implementing real-time embedded systems critical for robotic functionality. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, solving complex problems in motion control, sensor integration, and system reliability. Your contributions will directly enhance the performance of our innovative robotic platforms, ensuring they operate efficiently in real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop embedded systems for humanoid robotics
• Integrate and optimize sensors and communication modules
• Write firmware for both microcontrollers and FPGA systems
• Analyze and document system architecture and performance
• Collaborate on hardware testing and troubleshooting embedded systems
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of embedded software development experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant engineering field
• Strong coding skills in C and C++, plus Python
• Familiarity with RTOS and various communication standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Utilize your expertise in embedded systems to impact robotics at Humanoid.
