AI Runtime Engineer at Tenstorrent

Elevate AI technology with Tenstorrent as an AI Runtime Engineer. Lead the development at the hardware/software interface to optimize performance for our cutting-edge RISC-V CPU. At Tenstorrent, we are looking for an engineer skilled in C or C++ who possesses a deep understanding of hardware-software interaction. You will work hybrid, either in Toronto or Austin, defining runtime structures, scheduling tasks, and addressing complex performance issues in innovative ways. This position welcomes candidates of various experience levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Define runtime architecture for custom processor execution
- Build low-level components for hardware IP initialization
- Analyze and improve runtime bottlenecks for efficiency
- Design interfaces for efficient memory access and synchronization
- Engage with customers to translate needs into runtime innovations
- Expertise in C or C++ for performance-critical systems
- Experience in embedded or low-level environments
- Strong fundamentals in scheduling and resource management
- Skillful in debugging across hardware/software boundaries
- Technical leadership and mentoring abilities
