A 12-month medical affairs internship starting January 2027 that provides exposure to scientific communications, evidence generation, congress planning, and cross-functional collaboration within a biotechnology company. The role combines project support, literature analysis, and operational tasks while developing skills in medical strategy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project timelines, track action items, and manage project documentation
- Conduct literature searches and summarize scientific publications and clinical data
- Develop and review presentations, medical education materials, and internal resources
- Support planning and logistics for medical congresses, advisory boards, and educational events
- Assist with evidence-generation activities and prepare summary reports
Requirements
- Currently pursuing degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, or related discipline
- Fluent in English with effective cross-functional communication ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Data visualization or AI tool experience considered an asset
Compensation: $58,000 CAD/year
