Landscape construction crew leader to join our team! We are looking for an up-beat person who love's to get their hands dirty and enjoys working outdoors reliable, punctual, experienced, physically fit, able to work independently and lead a team. This opportunity is for year-round employment. Must be experienced in the landscape industry, have a valid class 5 driver's license with 3 years insurance history, and a clean driver's abstract.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction crew and ensure safety and productivity on site
- Install a variety of landscape features such as fences, garden beds, retaining walls, brick work, grading and more
- Equipment operation (skid steer, excavator etc.) in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Daily paperwork by way of a safety app
- Participate in Health and Safety. Incident reporting, Practice workplace safety and use all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Effective communication
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, truck, and trailer
This is a full-time position with year-round employment. hours are roughly 7:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday occasional work on Saturdays and or Sundays (weather dependent). Direct deposit weekly. All hours over 44 hours per week are banked and utilized for rain days (averaging agreement). Benefits available after 90 days.
