Are you an experienced lawyer looking for the opportunity to build and operate your own practice while being supported by an established, collaborative law firm? Sitka Law Group is seeking an Associate Counsel to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia.
This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who has developed their own practice, while benefiting from the support, resources, and reputation of a high-performing law firm. We are open to candidates with a strong general solicitor practice.
The successful candidate will have the experience and confidence to independently manage their files and client relationships, while contributing to Sitka’s collaborative approach to legal services.

As Associate Counsel, you will:
- Maintain and grow your own legal practice while being supported by Sitka’s established brand and infrastructure.
- Manage your own client relationships, files, and practice responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Sitka lawyers and legal support professionals when appropriate.

The ideal candidate will
- Be a member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Have an established practice.
- Have experience in general solicitor work.
- Be confident managing files independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess strong client service skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Have an entrepreneurial and business-minded approach to their practice.
- Value collaboration and contributing positively to a professional team environment.
