Construction is a complex, high-stakes industry, and managing its finances requires far more than basic software. Our client, a Globally Recognized Cloud-Based Construction ERP Leader, provides the technology that general contractors across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East rely on to run their businesses. But their software is only as powerful as its implementation. We are looking for an accounting-savvy professional who is ready to trade the heads-down spreadsheet life for a dynamic, high-impact consulting role where you will act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, controllers, and non-technical business owners.

Your Day-to-Day Impact

You aren’t just clicking through software demos; you are actively transforming how construction businesses run their operations and finances.

• The "Translator" Role: Your primary impact will be bridging the gap between finance and operations. You will routinely need to explain complex accounting functionality clearly to both technical financial teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Process Transformation: You will consult with clients to understand their current accounting workflows, and then configure our software to match how they actually run their business.
• Building Playbooks: Instead of just handing over a software license, you will build and deliver "gold standard" operational business playbooks for project management and construction accounting.
• Managing a Portfolio: After a structured ramp-up period, you will manage a book of 10–12 active clients, building long-term relationships and guiding them through their go-live processes.

The Tech Stack & Environment

• The Environment: We operate on a highly collaborative, 80% remote model. To maintain our strong team culture, we require two in-person collaboration days per month in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
• The Tools: Your day-to-day will be heavily Zoom-based, running training sessions, Q&A calls, and go-live support.
• The Culture: You will join a tight-knit, high-performing team of A-player consultants—all of whom have strong accounting backgrounds. We operate with a "one-team mentality" supported by weekly check-ins and monthly Employee Excellence sessions.

Who You Are

• You speak the language of finance: You have a rock-solid accounting background (e.g., public accounting, audit, managerial, or project accounting). General accounting fundamentals are non-negotiable. (Note: Construction accounting experience is a significant bonus, but not required).
• You are a master translator (The Hard Filter): Knowing the accounting terminology is only half the job. You must be an exceptionally clear, concise communicator who can get straight to the point. If you struggle to explain complex accounting matters to non-accounting stakeholders without using run-on sentences, this role will not be a fit.
• You are energized by client interaction: This is an all-day, client-facing consulting role on Zoom. You need to be a genuine people person who loves talking to clients, presenting to executives, and untangling their workflow challenges—not just an accountant who is "open to it".
• You are patient and composed: You will manage multiple clients simultaneously, meaning you must stay calm under pressure and never let a deadline slip.
