IoT Device Technician with Software Knowledge - Tokenomics Experience Required

The company is an early-stage IT x Healthcare startup focused on revolutionizing eye wellness in the digital age. We are building Eye-Cura, a cutting-edge wearable device designed to monitor and improve eye health while integrating blockchain technology for secure data management and tokenized rewards.

We’re looking for an experienced IoT device technician who has a background in software development, smart contract development, and tokenomics to help us build and refine this innovative product. This is a remote position, and you will be working closely with our product and blockchain teams.

**Project Overview:**

Device Type: Wearable health tech (smart glasses or a clip-on device)

Key Technologies: IoT, blockchain, tokenomics

Goal: Build a secure and intuitive device that monitors eye health, integrates blockchain for secure data storage, and rewards users for healthy habits through tokens.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* IoT Device Development: Design, prototype, and integrate IoT-enabled wearable devices with sensors to track eye health (e.g., screen time, blink rate, eye strain).
* Blockchain Integration: Work with the blockchain team to integrate blockchain technology for secure storage of user data, ensuring data immutability, privacy, and transparency.
* Smart Contract Development: Write, deploy, and maintain smart contracts for handling tokenized rewards and interactions between the wearable device and the blockchain.
* Tokenomics: Implement a token reward system where users can earn tokens for adopting healthier eye habits (e.g., reducing screen time, taking regular breaks).
* Security: Ensure the integration of cryptographic protocols and implement best practices for IoT device security and blockchain transactions.

**Expected Role:**

As an IoT Device Technician with Blockchain & Smart Contract Experience, you will play a key role in bringing the Eye-Cura wearable device to life. You will work closely with our product, engineering, and blockchain teams to integrate IoT functionality with blockchain technology, ensuring secure and transparent interactions within the system.

* IoT Device Design and Development: Lead the design and development of the Eye-Cura wearable device, ensuring it is functional, ergonomic, and capable of tracking critical health data (such as screen time, eye strain, user posture, etc.). Develop the necessary firmware and software for the device to communicate with the cloud and the blockchain system, ensuring real-time monitoring of the user’s eye health.
* Blockchain Integration: Integrate blockchain technology into the IoT device ecosystem for secure data storage and transparent user interactions. Work with the blockchain team to create a decentralized system where user data (such as screen time and eye strain data) is securely logged and cannot be tampered with, using platforms like Ethereum or Solana.
* Smart Contract Development: Write, test, and deploy smart contracts that define the rules for user reward systems (e.g., tokens for healthy habits) and data management. These smart contracts will handle tasks such as reward distribution, token management, and ensuring the transparency of user interactions with the device.
* Tokenomics and Incentive Systems: Collaborate with the team to create a tokenized reward system that incentivizes users for healthy digital habits (e.g., reducing screen time, taking eye breaks). Implement tokenomics to ensure that the token system is sustainable and scalable, offering meaningful rewards while maintaining fairness and security.
* Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of both the IoT device and blockchain integration to ensure that the device functions as expected in real-world scenarios. Debug and resolve issues related to device performance, blockchain interactions, and token integration.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

* IoT Device Development, Blockchain Development, Tokenomics
* Software Development: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Golang for backend development and integration with blockchain and IoT systems. Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT), and building applications that handle real-time data from IoT devices.
* Security: Experience implementing cryptographic techniques and ensuring secure data transmission between IoT devices and blockchain networks.
