Gold Mining Project Superintendent Needed

Exciting opportunity for a Project Superintendent at Atlantic Operations in Nova Scotia! Support the engineering efforts for gold mining projects while fostering safety and innovation in a full-time capacity. You will report to the General Manager, Projects and be based in Halifax, overseeing the 15-Mile, Beaver Dam, and Cochrane Hill projects. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in mining or metallurgical engineering and 5-10 years of related experience. You will collaboratively guide project studies, manage risks, and engage with community stakeholders to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellence in safety and regulatory compliance
- Manage engineering teams and external partnerships
- Develop detailed project scopes and long-term plans
- Conduct risk and opportunity evaluations
- Lead information sessions with stakeholders
- Class 5 Driver’s License required
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
- 5-10 years of applicable experience
- Experience with NI43-101 or JORC standards
- Operational experience within the mining sector
