Director Commercial Real Estate Credit Risk

Lead commercial real estate credit risk at RBC in Toronto, applying complex financial analysis and senior-level credit decisioning. Flexible work arrangements may be available.
As Director, you will oversee accounts spanning Capital Markets and Corporate Client Group business lines. You will assess complex credit requests, monitor borrower performance, and balance client credit needs with RBC's risk objectives. The role also includes mentoring team members and improving risk processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, monitor, and approve complex real estate credit requests
- Deliver recommendations with clear rationale to senior stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with internal credit originators
- Lead projects enhancing risk frameworks and processes
- Monitor financial information, regulations, and market dynamics
Requirements:
- Five-plus years in real estate, lending, credit structuring, or finance
- Complex financial analysis and credit decisioning experience
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Analytical, strategic approach to emerging risks
- Ability to manage priorities and resolve complex issues
