Senior Investment Analyst, High Yield Focus

Advance your career as a Senior Investment Analyst at Addenda Capital, concentrating on high yield investment strategies within a socially responsible framework. In this Montreal-based, permanent, full-time role, you'll engage in the development and monitoring of fixed income strategies while aiding the Core Fixed Income Portfolio Managers. Your responsibilities encompass high yield issuer assessments, Money Market Trader support, and engagement in comprehensive credit research. Collaboration will be key as you interface with various teams to ensure optimum investment outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop fixed income strategies tailored for client success
- Attend tactical and quarterly fixed income meetings
- Monitor and evaluate high yield portfolios and issuers
- Manage daily cash activities supporting client portfolios
- Engage in credit research and enhance reporting initiatives
- Degree in Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of investment-related experience
- CFA designation or in pursuit
- Direct exposure to high yield debt a plus
- Database and programming skills including Python or SQL
