Facility Maintenance Technician  

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, Roof, structural, Facility( washrooms, walkway, parking area )
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Respond to breakdowns and repair issues in a timely manner
• Maintain and repair:
• HVAC systems
• lighting
• Plumbing systems
• Facility( washrooms, walkway, parking area ), scissor lifts, boom lift, forklift. 
• Ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely
• Monitor building condition including walls, floors, roofing, and doors
• Conduct minor civil work (painting, patching, repairs)
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Identify and report potential hazards
• Follow lockout/tagout and safe work procedures
• Maintain maintenance logs and records
• Report recurring issues and recommend improvements
• Support audits and inspections
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• The role requires 2 years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to high and low temperatures 
• Fumes or airborne particles 

• Moving mechanical parts and vibration 

• Loud noise level
