Total Rewards Director in Houston or Toronto

Lead the development of total rewards at the forefront of the funeral and cemetery industry. This newly created Director role emphasizes compensation, benefits, and retirement planning, available either in Houston, TX or Toronto, Canada. The Director of Total Rewards will build and lead innovative compensation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance across U.S. and Canadian settings. This role focuses on designing compensation structures, employee benefits, and retirement plans aimed at attracting and retaining top talent while driving employee engagement. With significant experience, you'll shape the future of our total rewards function from the ground up. Key Responsibilities:
- Create compensation architecture and job structures
- Lead market pricing and internal pay equity analysis
- Design employee benefit programs and renewal processes
- Oversee retirement plan administration and compliance
- Partner with leadership on compensation planning and adjustments
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- 9-12 years in compensation and benefits design
- Experience with U.S. and Canadian compensation laws
- Proven skills in managing multiple projects
- Strong understanding of benefits administration
