Senior Process Engineer Winnipeg

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our clients team in Toronto. The successful candidate will play a key role in design and construction of key mineral processing plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, throughput, and cost performance.
- Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Develop, document, and maintain process specifications, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support recent product launches through process development, validation, and scale-up activities.
- Conduct process capability studies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.
- Investigate manufacturing deviations, non-conformances, and quality issues to determine root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure processes meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Mining experience required.
- Robust understanding of process optimization, statistical analysis, and manufacturing principles.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
