As a centre of excellence, we empower and connect clients on their journey to independence. We offer a comprehensive range of services across the continuum of care, including:Adult day programsServices for individuals experiencing homelessnessMainstream outreach in clients' homesTransitional living programsSupportive housing Job OverviewAs a Service Coordinator you will be responsible for the daily supervision, delivery, and evaluation of client programs and services. You will also assume responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of all direct reports and will collaborate with the program manager, addressing client or staff issues in a timely manner or escalating critical incidents. Reporting to the program manager, you will be assigned responsibility to:Have a clear and dedicated understanding of privacy and confidentiality and ensure the same for staff teamDirectly supervise front-line staff through coaching, team building, performance reviews, and performance management.Ensure a client centred approach is part of program cultureEmbrace diversity and inclusion with a focus on Indigenous cultureOversee and evaluate operations through data collection and analysis.Elevate high-risk priority incidents or longstanding concerns to supervisorFollow policies, procedures, and processes diligently and ensure compliance at program siteCapably use a fully integrated SharePoint and O365 environment.Support the health and safety of both staff and clients.Ensure eligible clients have current assessments, documentation, and service plans.Ensure integration with other sectors and workers involved in the client care team to support wrap-around services for clients.Maintain a professional, collaborative, and supportive culture within the program.Work within an ethical framework, risk management system, and quality improvement philosophy. Requirements:Community College Diploma in Recreation/Leisure, Social Services, Healthcare, or other related disciplineA minimum of 2 years' experience in social services or healthcare with at least 1 year supervising or leading a teamExperience in the mental health and/or addiction is an assetDemonstrated experience in behaviour management programsComprehensive knowledge and experience working in a SharePoint environment, including Microsoft 365 Teams (GoldCare experience a benefit, but not necessary)Problem solving and conflict resolution skills Excellent communication skills (written and oral)Experience working with persons with disabilities and/or acquired brain injuriesUnderstanding of community resources along with issues that relate to substance use, mental health, and brain injuryFamiliarity with health and safety requirements, AODA and WHMISMust have valid Class G driver's license and reliable vehicle. Travel will be required.
