Labourer - Infrastructure (Water and Sewer)

Thompson Construction Group has immediate openings for Water and Sewer Labourers supporting our Infrastructure division’s land development and subdivision projects in the Edmonton area.Responsibilities Assist in all general labour activities on site including backfill, pumping water, Use of plate tampers and jumping jacks and general housekeeping Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures Report all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervision Maintain effective communication with supervisors and crew members Work collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelines Qualifications Minimum 1 year of similar work experience required Reliable transportation to and from site Ability to work extended hours, including up to 12 hours per day, Monday to Saturday Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environment Additional InformationThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to these positions.
