Reinsurance Portfolio Specialist Toronto

Manage reinsurance portfolios for Guy Carpenter in Toronto, using accounting expertise and precise client follow-up. This hybrid role requires three office days weekly.

As a Reinsurance Specialist, you will manage assigned client portfolios and support premium collection, fund settlements, and cash application. The position requires reinsurance and accounting or claims experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and effective communication. You will provide accounting and claims information supporting sales while maintaining relationships with brokers, clients, and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client portfolios, activity entry, follow-up, and premium collection
• Support collection efforts and cash application with departments
• Oversee client fund settlements and payment warranty compliance
• Complete tasks accurately according to Service Level Agreements
• Provide accounting and claims information supporting sales opportunities

Requirements:

• Two or more years in reinsurance and accounting or claims
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or risk management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and workload management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills
