Retirement Residence General Manager
The SSI Group
Lead retirement residence operations through strong leadership, communication, and resident care oversight. Apply management experience while working closely with seniors, families, and staff.
The General Manager directs residence activities and manages human, physical, and financial resources. This position oversees resident satisfaction, employee direction, compliance, and operating standards. Success requires interpersonal skill, adaptability, and knowledge of relevant provincial and federal legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all residence activities and operational resources
- Ensure high-quality resident care and satisfaction
- Supervise office and management staff
- Assess staffing needs and hire employees
- Maintain nursing, safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards
Requirements:
- Five years of relevant management experience minimum
- Certificate or degree in health, business, or marketing
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of applicable provincial and federal regulations
Bring experienced leadership, resident-focused management, and regulatory knowledge to the daily operation of a retirement residence.
