Director of Design for Arc'teryx

Lead innovative consumer product concepts for men’s apparel at Arc'teryx, focusing on Climb and Snow categories. This on-site role emphasizes creative leadership and exceptional consumer experiences.
As the Director of Design, you will oversee the creation of world-class apparel tailored for outdoor enthusiasts. Your 12+ years of experience in technical apparel design and your expertise in garment construction will guide your team in delivering exceptional products. Also, you will embody the outdoor spirit and build products that meet athlete-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design of consumer-focused product concepts
• Provide creative leadership to design teams
• Ensure alignment with the product merchandising strategy
• Identify future needs through immersive research
• Validate product functionality for outdoor activities
Requirements:
• Degree in Apparel Design or related field
• 12+ years of technical apparel experience
• 5+ years leading design teams
• Deep knowledge of climbing and snow cultures
• Ability to travel internationally as needed
