As a Respiratory Therapist within the Ambulatory Care department, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical and compassionate care to infants, children, and youth. Your responsibilities will include conducting diagnostic testing, respiratory assessments, and providing case management. This role also involves community visits to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes for patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic testing and respiratory assessments
- Conduct home visits for technology-dependent children
- Offer caregiver education and support across settings
- Coordinate care and equipment for safe transitions
- Facilitate collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in pediatric respiratory therapy preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices
