Join Allstate as a Senior Counsel, focused on Business Law in a hybrid setting. Leverage your legal expertise to support innovative insurance products and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to contribute to Allstate Canada Group's Law & Regulation Department. In this role, you will partner with various business functions, providing legal insights on Corporate Law, Insurance Products, and Regulatory Compliance. Successful candidates will adapt quickly and advocate effectively within a complex legal framework. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic legal counseling to enhance business objectives
- Assist Product teams in insurance product creation
- Conduct thorough research on regulatory compliance
- Support distribution and claims functions regarding policy matters
- Provide guidance on marketing and advertising strategies
- Accredited Canadian law degree
- Member of a provincial Law Society
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant legal fields
- Proven ability in regulated industries
- French language skills preferred
