We are currently recruiting for our reputed client's CNC Shop that specializes in precision machining for various industries. Our client is seeking highly skilled CNC Machinists to join their team and operate a range of CNC machines, including Puma 2600 SY II, Lynx 300, Puma 400, Puma 300, and Lynx 2100 LSY. The successful candidates will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating these machines to produce high-quality components according to customer specifications and drawings. We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with a strong focus on turning and turn-mill operations, using Fanuc Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components, meeting or exceeding production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to customer specifications and drawings.
- Performing complex machining operations, including turning and turn-mill operations, using Fanuc Control.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC machining processes to ensure quality and production targets are met.
- Measuring and inspecting finished products using precision measuring instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintaining equipment and tools in good working condition and performing routine maintenance activities as required.
- Adhering to safety regulations and company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
- Experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, with a strong focus on turning and turn-mill operations using Fanuc Control and other programs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and equipment, such as micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
