Senior Java Software Developer

Who you are:

• Seeking an experienced Java developer with 8+ years of experience in Java (8 or higher) to handle complex systems and document product features
• Experience building event-driven architecture utilizing Spring Boot, Kafka, and SQL, and use your expertise with APIs, and microservices
• Accomplished with advanced SQL and NoSQL skills
• Contribute to Agile/DevOps transformation with Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Someone who is resilient, passionate, results-driven, and doesn't fold under pressure
• An excellent communicator both written and verbally
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

What you will do:

• Collaborate as part of an Agile team, creating a next-gen Data platform for cloud transformation
• Use your expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture
• Work with large, complex data from diverse sources
• Develop user-driven prototypes and architectural approaches
• Build storage and search functions using structured and unstructured data
• Utilize a tech stack consisting of Java, Scala, and Python
• Utilize DevOps techniques (CI/CD, Test Automation, etc.) with tools like Jenkins, Gradle and Git

It would be awesome if you had:

• Documenting system-level software and "docs as code" (DaC) best practices
• Knowledge of Monitoring and Observability Tools like Prometheus, Grafana
• Experience as a Scrum Master
• Kafka experience
