Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Manager of Patient Advocacy for its Canada operations to build relationships with patient advocacy groups, develop disease awareness strategies, and integrate patient perspectives into business planning across therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, oncology, hematology, and neuroscience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain trust-based partnerships with patient advocacy groups to strengthen their capacity and expand BMS engagement
Develop and execute comprehensive patient advocacy and disease awareness strategies across priority therapeutic areas
Create stakeholder-tailored communications materials including educational toolkits, awareness campaigns, and patient journey resources
Lead national-level disease awareness programs in collaboration with medical societies and key opinion leaders
Monitor Canadian healthcare and policy environment to identify opportunities and emerging issues relevant to BMS

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Business Administration, or Sciences
Minimum 7 years of stakeholder engagement and/or communications experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare
Bilingual proficiency in English and French, written and verbal
Knowledge of Canadian healthcare, reimbursement landscape, and patient advocacy ecosystem
Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management capabilities
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic communications and advocacy initiatives
