Office Administrator

Gobind Sarvar School- Edmonton is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Student Information Data entry clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing student information databases, ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain student information databases, including enrollment, attendance, grades, and personal information.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop and implement data entry protocols and procedures.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to support school administration and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and school policies.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to troubleshoot database issues and implement upgrades.
  • Perform other office tasks as assigned, to support the overall efficiency and functionality of the school administration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in database management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in database software and tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
