Senior Pipeline Licensing Advisor

Lead pipeline and facility licensing applications at Cenovus while applying regulatory expertise, analytical judgment, and detailed compliance review across Alberta assets.This senior position coordinates licensing work throughout construction, operations, maintenance, and abandonment activities. You will advise internal and external stakeholders, interpret regulatory requirements, and support compliant decisions across the organization. The role also includes mentoring team members and leading special regulatory initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare compliant pipeline and facility license applicationsComplete technical reviews and compile audit documentationInterpret regulatory requirements and recommend informed business decisionsMonitor regulatory changes and recommend change management actionsLiaise with regulatory bodies on emerging issuesRequirements:
Eight or more years licensing pipelines and facilities in AlbertaPost-secondary education in engineering, environment, or related fieldUnderstanding of AER DDS and OneStop systemsExperience with Accumap, Abadata, Petrinex, SharePoint, Spotfire, and Power BIStrong analytical, communication, project, and process implementation skillsApply regulatory guidance, licensing expertise, and analytical problem-solving to support Cenovus pipeline and facility compliance.
