Reports to: Restaurant Manager / Floor Manager
Employment Type: Part-time / Full-time (as needed)
Role Summary:
House of Dawn Steakhouse is an upscale dining destination focused on refined service, premium steaks, and a memorable guest experience. We are seeking a professional, experienced server who understands true hospitality, attention to detail, and structured service standards.
This is not a casual service role — we are looking for someone who takes pride in the craft of serving.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide warm, professional, and attentive service throughout the guest’s visit
• Demonstrate full knowledge of food menus, steak cuts, preparation styles, and daily features
• Confidently describe dishes and make thoughtful recommendations
• Maintain proper steps of service (greeting, beverage service, order pacing, table maintenance, dessert/after-dinner service)
• Handle multiple tables while maintaining composure and service quality
• Work closely with food runners, bartenders, and kitchen team for smooth service flow
• Maintain table cleanliness, organization, and fine dining presentation standards
• Process bills accurately and handle payments professionally
• Contribute to a calm, team-oriented, and respectful work environment
Qualifications
✔ Minimum 3 years experience with atleast 1 year fine dining experience in a full-service restaurant
✔ Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience strongly preferred
✔ Strong communication and guest engagement skills
✔ Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
✔ Knowledge of steakhouse service style is an asset
✔ Wine knowledge and Bartending Knowledge is an asset(basic pairing and terminology)
✔ Professional appearance and demeanor
✔ Team-oriented with a positive attitude
✔ Available for evening and weekend shifts
