Flatbed Trucking Sales Representative / Dispatcher

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative / Dispatcher to help grow our flatbed trucking operation. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the freight industry, excellent customer service skills, and a proven ability to secure profitable loads while building long-term relationships with shippers and brokers.

Responsibilities
- Source and secure profitable flatbed freight opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, shippers, and customers.
- Negotiate rates and maximize revenue per truck.
- Plan and dispatch drivers efficiently to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor shipments and provide proactive communication to customers and drivers.
- Resolve load issues, delays, and service challenges professionally.
- Manage load boards and transportation management systems.
- Track driver availability, Hours of Service (HOS), and equipment utilization.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with management to support business growth and customer retention.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in flatbed dispatching, freight brokerage, trucking sales, or transportation logistics.
- Strong knowledge of flatbed freight operations, load securement requirements, and industry regulations.
- Experience using load boards such as DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Existing industry contacts and customer relationships are considered a strong asset.
