We are currently looking for an exceptionally reliable, friendly, detail-oriented Optical Dispensary Assistant who excels in communication and multitasking to join our growing team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive, welcoming team environment. No optical experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need!
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Assisting patients with selecting eyewear and lenses to suit their needs
- Ordering, adjusting and dispensing eyewear as well as performing eyeglass repairs
- Manage patient records and eyewear orders
- Handle phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Will be involved in daily business transactions
- Assist with general office tasks
- Patient screening
- Medical Ophthalmic Imaging
What We’re Looking For:
- We are seeking someone who takes pride in being consistently reliable and punctual
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with computers and cash transactions is an asset
- Previous experience in retail or in an optical setting is an asset but not mandatory
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can also work independently
