Rex.zone is looking for an experienced coder with over three years in medical coding to help translate clinical documentation into standardized codes essential for billing and compliance. You will collaborate closely with healthcare teams to improve documentation and ensure the accuracy of code assignments. Key Responsibilities:
- Assign ICD-10-CA and CCI codes from clinical documentation
- Apply health billing rules for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct quality assurance checks on coding efforts
- Work collaboratively with CDI and other teams
- Track coding productivity against service level expectations
- Over 3 years of medical coding experience
- Proficient in ICD-10-CA and CCI coding systems
- Experienced with coding compliance and QA processes
- Familiar with secure remote workflows and EHR systems
- Strong ability to clarify coding queries effectively
