Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Red Seal Plumber to join our team as a Subcontractor. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while following proper lifting techniques.
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, HVAC components, and related mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues with plumbing or HVAC systems effectively.
- Assemble piping systems, fittings, valves, and fixtures with precision to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate tasks such as carpentry, welding, or other trades necessary for project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal certification as a plumber with proven experience in construction or maintenance environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems, schematics reading, and system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related tools safely and effectively.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is essential for accurate installation and repairs.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing or system layouts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or installation tasks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to plumbing work, heavy machinery operation, welding procedures, and working at heights is preferred.
