We're looking for a confident and people‑oriented Store Manager for our Stone Road retail salon in Guelph, Ontario. This is a 6‑month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.

About you

• Enthusiastic about all things beauty!
• At least 5 years of experience in a retail leadership role including sales performance, operations management and inventory management
• Previous salon experience would be a great asset
• Can build rapport with guests and team, with an unwavering understanding that the “Experience is Everything”
• Flexible, self‑motivated and driven with excellent people and communication skills
• Superior time‑management skills – you get things done on time, every time (and on budget!)
• Knowledge of computer systems like Point of Sales, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Gmail
• Inspires others to be their best
• Day, evening and weekend availability
• Strong problem‑solving skills; highly responsible and 100% reliable

What you’ll do

• Manage retail operations – maintain and improve systems and processes
• Analyze, maintain and improve our systems and processes
• Oversee and book guest appointments with a smile
• Coach and train the sales team to help them achieve store sales targets
• Ensure the salon is kept sparkling clean, well‑stocked and merchandised according to Chatters' standards
• Serve as the resident product expert; oversee inventory, product ordering and pricing
• Monitor budgets, payroll, scheduling and cost‑of‑goods management
• Create a welcomed setting for guests and beauty consultants
