In this position, you will be responsible for the clinical care of patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes nurses, social workers, and therapists to deliver high-quality psychiatric care. Your expertise will guide patients through their recovery process, ensuring a holistic approach. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient admissions and treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and document progress notes
- Collaborate with health team for comprehensive care
- Supervise clinical care during rounds
- Ensure referral processes are maintained efficiently
- Certification in Psychiatry from RCPS(C) or equivalent
- Experience with complex psychiatric and comorbid conditions
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Strong commitment to patient safety protocols
- Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is welcomed
