As we continue to grow, we are looking for an IT Specialist L3 ( Implementation Specialist) to join the MSP Corp. East team.
About the Role
As IT Specialist 3 ( Implementation Specialist) you will be responsible for providing remote and on-site support to clients, managing their hardware, software, and network systems, and ensuring optimal system availability and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful MSP system administration and project delivery in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Location: Kingston
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Work Mode: On-site
What you will do
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, administration, and project related implementations.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations and patch management.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Experience with network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Experience with cloud computing technologies such as Azure and M365 solutions in order to assist or carry out projects like the following:
- Implementation of Autopilot (hybrid/cloud joined)
- Implementation of Intune policies ensuring proper configuration of devices and/or users
- Application packaging for Intune
- Migration of environments from on-prem to cloud in planned and staged manner.
- Windows 365 / AVD deployments
- File migration to SharePoint or Azure file share.
- Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
- Collaboration with internal teams and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives to deliver the desired satisfactory customer experience.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
What you will need
- Minimum of 4–7 years of relevant experience in IT support or a related field
- DEC in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and related equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
