Senior Tax Accountant At Bdo Calgary

BDO is seeking a Senior Accountant for U.S. Corporate Tax Services. Specializing in tax returns and compliance, you'll enhance both your career and client satisfaction in this role.
In this position, you will prepare and review corporate and partnership U.S. tax returns while conducting thorough compliance research. Your contributions will involve collaborating with various tax teams and mentoring junior staff. Communicating with tax authorities will also be a key part of ensuring effective and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare corporate tax returns for compliance
- Perform federal and state tax research and analysis
- Engage with the IRS and state tax authorities directly
- Train and mentor team members for skill development
- Build and maintain robust client relationships
Requirements
- U.S. Tax CPA designation is required or being pursued
- At least three years of experience in public accounting
- Proficient in problem-solving and analytical skills
- Solid commitment to learning in a technological workplace
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
