Utility Transmission Planning Manager - North America

Lead the future of energy at Jacobs as a Utility Transmission Planning Manager across North America. Oversee a talented team focused on transmission planning for major clients in a dynamic hybrid work environment. In this senior-level role, you will manage a team of engineers specializing in transmission planning, collaborating with T&D utilities and independent operators. You will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative grid solutions while supporting Jacobs' business development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and offer technical supervision at a high level. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead transmission planning teams for various client projects
- Collaborate with T&D utilities and IOUs for project success
- Oversee technical studies and project proposals
- Support business development and bidding initiatives
- Ensure compliance with North American standards
- Advanced degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in transmission planning
- Strong knowledge of NERC, FERC standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional Engineer (PE or PEng) license preferred
