- Nettoyer et empiler les matériaux récupérés
- Nettoyer les déversements de produits chimiques et d'autres contaminants
- Enlever les moellons et autres débris sur les chantiers de construction
- Mesurer, couper, tarauder et plier les tuyaux dans la forme et la grandeur requis
- Pratiquer, dans les murs et les planchers, des ouvertures de diamètre convenant aux tuyaux et aux accessoires de tuyauterie
- Joindre les tuyaux avec des raccords, des colliers de serrage, des vis, des boulons ou du matériel de collage, de brasage ou de soudage
- Vérifier les tuyaux à l'aide de manomètres pour déceler les fuites
