D&IT Business Solutions Manager - Mississauga, Ontario

What this role is about?

You will be responsible for maintaining & supporting a proportion of the Consumer Centric portfolio of applications across Americas Region. You should broaden their technical and delivery skills using tools at their disposal, including but not limited to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Content Management Systems (CMS), Marketing Automation Tools, Microsoft Power Automate Platform, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Data management. This role may be involved in projects to localize and roll out centralized systems, including the detailed planning and execution of the project/changes, data migration, external resources, and go-live. The role actively engaging with business stakeholders and D&IT partners to explore capability improvements or to ensure clear understanding of new capabilities requirements.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with business to identify improvements for existing solutions
• Work to find existing solutions in JTI that have the required capabilities for a Consumer Centric approach
• Act as program manager to roll out systems to more than one market in the Region
• Work with other regions who are rolling out systems ahead of your region to gain knowledge and to help deliver the solution faster in your region 
• Explore with other regions capabilities teams what exists so that synergies and technology re-use can be maximized and deployed quickly & adopted
• Use Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio to augment and deliver simple and short-term capabilities
• Maintain a strong understanding of our evolving toolset, including their functionalities and API integrations. Leverage this knowledge to optimize data transfer processes across key JTI systems and enhance user experience. Ensure the company's business community is provided with appropriate support and training/development in business systems, software, and hardware in order to make effective and efficient usage of systems and resources and enable users to achieve business goals. These solutions may be internally or externally provided 
• Ensure the company's business community is provided with appropriate support and training/development in business systems, software and hardware in order to make effective and efficient usage of systems and resources and enable users to achieve business goals
• Ensuring that all shared D&IT applications / D&IT solutions under your portfolio are stable, reliable and compliant with the local legislation (e.g. data sources and data integrity) 
• Manage the application portfolio of Consumer Centric solutions including the operational excellence (incident management, maintenance, enhancement and change request, problems, etc) as well as managing demands and accountable for the execution of projects of that specific function
• Accelerate the adoption of AI-driven capabilities and digital solutions across the Region to enhance business performance and consumer engagement
• Drive the development and adoption of consumer data ecosystems, including registration programs, retention initiatives, listening programs, and consumer insight platforms
• Responsible for respective D&IT budgets for managed applications and services from the Region. Optimize, control and reduce costs when possible, to improve regional budget efficiency and profitability.  Work with market teams to foster ideas and understand new trends and how they could challenge or provide an opportunity to change the business model or drive efficiencies into operations

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with 1+ of those years in IT Management of Business Solutions/ Application teams (including people management where relevant)
• Preferred background of employment experience in multinational companies
• Good working knowledge of business and related processes in the FMCG industry
• Fluent English
• Experience in at least 2 of the following technologies:
  • Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate)
  • IaaS and SaaS Platforms for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems
  • Microsoft Data Lake and Data Warehouse technologies
  • Loyalty Systems and Marketing Automation Tools
• Business requirements analysis & process documentation 
• Solutions design proposal and architecture (business applications and D&IT infrastructure), including but not limited to application design methodology (including Agile methodology), interface design, capacity planning, scalability
• Good financial and budgetary understanding 
• Project management (medium to large scale projects) 
• Experience in vendor management

Compensation Package: 

110,000.00 - 120,000.00 CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility. The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
