Job Description

Join our Spa Team as a Practitioner where you have the opportunity to learn and grow in a Relais & Châteaux property recognized by Forbes, Michelin Key, AAA Four Diamond, and Travel & Leisure’s World’s Best Hotels.

As a Spa Practitioner you will:

• Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
• Provide a welcoming greeting and consultation unique to each guest.
• Perform Massage and Spa treatments on guests ranging from Relaxation Massage to Body Treatments.
• Project a friendly and professional demeanour to guests, upholding guest service standards of the Wickaninnish Inn.
• Promote the Spa’s products and educating guests on home care recommendations.
• Maintain spotless spa and treatment areas that are tidy and fully stocked.

• Exemplary customer service skills and demonstrate a willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high standard environment, and creative problem solving skills are necessary.
• A strong passion for the health and wellness industry.
• The availability to work evenings, weekends and open to adjusting schedule for business needs.
• A minimum 1000 hours of combined training in Massage Therapy modalities.
• The ability to make a commitment to the position for a mutually understood and agreed upon period of time.

Salary/Wage: Renumeration for Spa Practitioners is a combination of treatment and retail sales commissions. The commission range is 25% -35% and is dependant on your level of experience and training. A typical practitioner, working average treatments, 4 days week, would make approximately $34 - $49 per hour. Spa Practitioners also receive gratuities.
