Automotive Service Back Parts Associate

Canadian Tire is now hiring a Back Parts Associate to join our well-established team, to source and order automotive parts and quote estimates. Take your career to the next level and apply today!

Who You Are:
A mature and driven team player, with experience supporting Automotive Technicians in locating and providing the right parts for auto repairs . You thrive in fast-paced environments, and are familiar with the use of computerized auto parts and service systems.
What You'll Need:
- Knowledge of or experience with mechanical components of automobiles .
- Ability to work effectively with auto parts ordering systems and computerized work order systems.
- Basic math and keyboarding skills.
- Parts sourcing and quoting experience.
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate and follow-up on daily tasks.
- Ability to resolve problems and make decisions.
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks in a team setting, or individually.
- Strong belief in the Canadian Tire values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Valid driver's license for province of employment.
- Safety shoes or boots.
What You'll Do:
- Source and order automotive parts through authorized suppliers.
- Providing part pricing and quotes to the Service Advisor.
- Process returns, warranties and castings as required.
- Test and fill batteries, test starters.
- Operate the battery filling station as per training received.
- Ensure that retail basic tasks are executed efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy .
- Participate in meetings and all training as required and listen to feedback to improve your own abilities.
Successful candidates will be able to work a variable schedule, including days, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
