Business Development Executive

TalentWorld is recruiting a Junior Business Development Executive in Barrie, Ontario for one of its valued partners.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift | Travel to client locations is required

• The starting salary for this position is $50,000 per year plus uncapped commission and is specific to candidates located in Ontario. Compensation will be determined based on your knowledge, skills, experience, and competencies, and you’ll have room to grow after you join! Junior Business Development Executive Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach activities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
• Develop an understanding of customer needs and provide tailored solutions
• Respond to sales inquiries, prepare quotations, and support customers throughout the sales process
• Attend client meetings and travel within the assigned territory to develop and maintain business relationships
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity reports, and customer information
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer satisfaction and resolve issues
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and potential business opportunities
• Support account planning and strategic growth initiatives
• Represent the organization professionally at client meetings and other business activities

Junior Business Development Executive Qualifications

• Previous customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other client-facing experience is considered an asset
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Motivated to learn and build a long-term career in business development
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to client locations as required
