We are in search of a Technician who is responsible for diligently maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure both customer safety and satisfaction while contributing to overall departmental success. A key priority for a Technician is to instil brand loyalty and ensure a positive customer service experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections
Diagnose malfunctions and identify additional service requirements
Provide written, prioritized quotes for additional work needed
Conduct road tests and verify completed repairs
Update Service Advisors throughout the process with clear documentation
Greet customers warmly and foster relationships across the dealership
Complete all required training and stay up-to-date on product knowledge
Maintain a clean, professional workspace and personal appearance
Education & Experience
College Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies, or equivalent.
Valid Automotive Service Technician (AST) Certification of Qualification, Class A.
Ozone depletion certificate.
Valid Drivers Licence for the province of employment.
Minimum two (2) years as an Automotive Service Technician.
One (1) year of brand product experience.
Dealership experience preferred.
