Join the Meteorological Service of Canada as an Experienced Meteorologist in various locations. Contribute to impactful weather forecasting and analysis for diverse clients in this integral role. The MSC is seeking MT-02 and MT-03 Meteorologists for direct entry positions. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in meteorology or a related field along with substantial operational experience, including data analysis and forecast issuance. This role also requires strong analytical skills to assess atmospheric patterns and provide accurate weather products. Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze meteorological data for trends and patterns
• Create and issue weather forecasts for various clients
• Review meteorological products to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with teams for research and development
• Provide support during severe weather events Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in meteorology or related field
• MT-02: Minimum 2 years operational meteorology experience
• MT-03: Minimum 3 years operational meteorology experience
• Bilingual (English/French) as required
