Corporate Restructuring Manager Toronto

Corporate restructuring expertise meets financial modelling in Toronto at BDO, with blended office, client-site, and virtual work. Advise stakeholders through complex change.
As a Manager on BDO’s Corporate Restructuring team, you will plan and execute engagements involving financial distress, liquidity challenges, and operational underperformance. You will assess restructuring alternatives, analyze integrated cash flow forecasts, and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders. Mandates may include receiverships, bankruptcies, proposals, CCAA proceedings, turnarounds, and other formal or informal restructurings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise corporations, lenders, creditors, shareholders, and other stakeholders
- Analyze financial projections, business plans, liquidity, and viability
- Manage engagement planning, deliverables, priorities, and timelines
- Lead, coach, and develop engagement team members
- Present reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Requirements:
- Two or more years of relevant restructuring or advisory experience
- Canadian CPA designation required
- Working knowledge of BIA, CCAA, and insolvency legislation
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
