General Manager for Agricultural Growth

Join a pioneering greenhouse organization as General Manager, leading operations for exceptional product quality and operational performance. Drive growth in controlled-environment agriculture. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of greenhouse operations, including production, financial management, and employee engagement. We seek a leader with over a decade of greenhouse experience and the ability to develop strategies that enhance productivity and safety. Your collaborative approach will support the optimization of production flow and resource utilization. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operations including production and shipping
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost efficiency initiatives
- Develop operational strategies for improved resource use
- Ensure compliance with food safety and labor standards
- Drive initiatives to boost crop quality and operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years in greenhouse operations with leadership
- Strong knowledge of crop production and environmental controls
- Proven experience managing complex operations
- Effective communication skills, bilingual is a plus
