PA Level 6 - Enrolment Analyst

Reporting to the University Registrar, the Enrolment Analyst supports the data needs associated with all aspects of strategic enrolment management across the campus. This includes accurate and efficient collection, validation, and utilization of data, as well as the development of reports and dashboards, and the delivery of comprehensive analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to applicant and student recruitment, retention, engagement, performance, and other strategic enrolment metrics
- Develop and maintain enrolment dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends
- Identify patterns, trends, and insights from applicant and student data to inform decision-making and enhance programs and processes
Reporting
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc enrolment reports for leadership, Faculties, and other stakeholders
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic enrolment management and planning
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data privacy regulations
Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws, academic regulations, and internal policies related to data management and reporting
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely data and reports
- Implement controls and processes to safeguard data and maintain data confidentiality
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance data collection and analysis methods, and improve data quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and data-driven solutions
- Participate in initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics or related areas of study
- Minimum two years of work experience in data analysis
- Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI and/or other business intelligence applications. Experience using Recruit CRM and Colleague student information system is considered an asset
- Attention to detail and system savvy
- Adherence to confidentiality requirements
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, particularly in delivering client services
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of ethical standards of integrity, fairness, and confidentiality
- Culturally competent communication and cross-cultural understanding
- Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently, and able to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, energy, and positivity in their work
