Electrical Drafter Team Lead at Tetra Tech

Tetra Tech seeks an Electrical Drafter Team Lead to drive innovative projects within the Power team from anywhere in Canada. Lead teams in developing complex electrical designs and documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards. In this pivotal new role, you will coordinate and mentor a team of electrical drafters/designers while managing the preparation of project drawings and technical documents. Your expertise will influence overhead and underground transmission systems, with an emphasis on compliance and quality control. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team in preparing detailed electrical drawings
• Review designs for accuracy and compliance with standards
• Mentor junior drafters and assign tasks efficiently
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers on requirements
• Identify project risks and recommend solutions

Requirements:

• 10+ years of electrical drafting/design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT
• Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution systems
• Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities
• Eligibility for OACETT certification preferred
