Job Summary:

The Lead Bistro worker will support our Food and Beverage team working at the Bistro Hut. They will work to oversee cashiers, bussers, and hosts to ensure smooth operation and friendly service.

Job Specifications:

• Shift Type: Full Time
• Skill Level: Intermediate
• Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00

Job Responsibilities:

• Production and service of menu items, including specialty coffees.
• To maintain the bussing of tables and garbage removal throughout the day.
• Perform cashier duties.
• Prep food and keep kitchen area clean, tidy and organized and assist in front-line service when necessary.
• To assist in the delivery and storage of food as directed by your Supervisor.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the guest and food preparation areas.
• Maintain a high standard of service at all times.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the washrooms.
• We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.
• Always show up on time, in uniform, and adhere to the grooming policy!

Job Qualifications:

• Demonstrate our core values: Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Have Fun.
• Food Safe 1 (Course offered)
• Some kitchen or food handling experience an asset
• Must have B.C. Serving it Right

• Must be 19 or over to sell alcohol in Whistler (not required at all restaurant locations)
• Previous restaurant experience is an asset.
• Cash-handling experience.

• Previous guest or customer service required.
• Proof of clear criminal record check.
