Responsibilities As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate in-home support to seniors and individuals needing assistance with daily living. Duties may include:

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Providing mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and assistance with eating and drinking
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders and medication assistance under supervision
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition
• Providing companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
• Supporting clients in maintaining independence and quality of life
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment

Qualifications We are looking for caregivers who are:

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about helping seniors maintain dignity and independence

Requirements:

• Current registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
• Completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant Program
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
• Negative TB test completed within the past 90 days
• Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the past 90 days
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to speak and write English fluently (additional languages are an asset)

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Casual and flexible scheduling options available
