POS Warehouse and Shipping Administrator
Position Summary
The POS Warehouse and Shipping Administrator is responsible for the efficient coordination of inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping activities for point-of-sale (POS) systems and related equipment. This role ensures accurate order picking, packaging, and timely shipping while maintaining optimal warehouse organization and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
· Receive, inspect, and organize incoming POS equipment and accessories
· Maintain an accurate inventory system through data entry and regular cycle counts
· Track and label all equipment with asset tags and configuration notes
· Organize storage of POS components in a clean, logical, and accessible manner
Shipping and Logistics
· Pick and pack orders accurately based on work orders or installation schedules
· Coordinate shipping with courier partners and generate appropriate shipping labels
· Track and confirm delivery of shipments to clients or installers
· Handle returns, exchanges, and RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations)
Inventory Management
· Maintain minimum stock levels and reorder thresholds for common items
· Assist with procurement requests and vendor coordination
· Conduct quarterly inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Administrative & Support Duties
· Maintain records of shipments, equipment checklists, and serial numbers
· Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, customs forms)
· Support field technicians with urgent equipment requests or replacements
· Collaborate with Project Managers and Install Coordinators for scheduling logistics
Skills and Qualifications
· 1+ years of warehouse, logistics, or shipping experience (POS industry preferred)
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Experience using inventory or warehouse management software
· Ability to lift and move packages (up to 50 lbs)
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Detail-oriented with strong communication and documentation skills
Working Conditions
· Primarily warehouse-based with some office administration work
· Regular lifting, loading/unloading shipments
· May require occasional extended hours during deployment periods
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
